Hemp Protein Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 65g dark chocolate
  • 20g white chocolate
  • 140g golden caster sugar
  • 100g butter
  • 75g Hemp Protein Powder
  • 25g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 5 tbsp crème fraîche

You will also need:

  • Greaseproof paper
  • Baking tin

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over boiling water.
  3. Once melted, leave to cool.
  4. Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
  5. Whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  6. Gradually pour the chocolate mix into the eggs and sugar.
  7. Gently fold in a figure of 8, but be careful not to lose the air.
  8. Sift the dry ingredients into the chocolate and egg mix in 3 sections, and then repeat the process of gently folding in the ingredients.
  9. Add the crème fraîche.
  10. Pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake for 25 minutes.
  11. Leave to cool down completely, then place in the fridge until cold.
  12. Cut into desired portion sizes.
