Guarana Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 50g Guarana powder
  • 100g self-raising flour
  • 50g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 heaped tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Method:

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add the butter and egg to the mix, stir and then knead the dough well.
  3. Squeeze the dough into rolls and cover with cling film. Leave the dough in the fridge for a minimum of four hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  5. Unpack the dough rolls and cut into equal sized cookie-shaped discs.
  6. Distribute the biscuits evenly on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.
